Evening Leaves

You should use that camera to take some fall pictures. Here in Illinois the leaves are turning red and orange and yellow - makes for some great kodak moments. :)

Unfortunately we only get too seasons here, wet and brown.

Wet is the green season of short days from, November through May. The fields are all green and the place looks alive.

Brown is the season of long dry days from May to October, where the hills are covered in yellow stalks of grass.

We did have two days when the trees at the end of the street changed from green to red.

Most years the last day of rain is in the first two weeks of May, this year it was in April. Often it is dry through Halloween, but that day is touch and go as to weather it'll be a warm evening or a cold wet one.

That's the wonders of California. I do know what you mean about fall though, Britain was good for it, and you can't help but love the colours in "The Trouble With Harry".
